The itinerary promises the excitement of an African wildlife safari and a photo safari in two of Tanzanias most spectacular national parks. Highlights include large elephant herds and giant baobab trees in Tarangire, diverse wildlife sightings including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, buffalo, warthogs, baboons, impalas, rare species such as Gerenuk and Great Kudu, Oryx, and numerous bird species. The Ngorongoro Crater offers chances to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and many birds of prey.
Arrival day in Tanzania. Guests will be met on arrival and transferred to accommodation in Arusha. This is the initial meeting and preparation day for the safari with overnight stay in Arusha. Airport pick up and drop off are included and accommodation in Arusha is provided as part of the package.

Depart Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park for a full day of safari and photo opportunities. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. Expect game drives with sightings of elephants and a wide variety of savannah wildlife and birds. Accommodation overnight will be in a safari lodge or tented camp as included in the package.

Travel from Tarangire to the Ngorongoro Crater area for crater rim and crater floor visits and intensive game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater provides rich wildlife viewing where guests may see predators and an abundance of species. After the safari activities descend or view into the crater and then return to Arusha at the end of the day. National park fees are included.
