2 Days 1 Night Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy Safari From Nairobi

Depart from Nairobi at 0600 Hours and proceed north, driving through lush tea and coffee estates to Sweetwaters Game Reserve. Sweetwaters land, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and its sumptuous ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. You visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Good all Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! Enjoy a game drive in the park where one could see reticulated giraffe, common, or Burchell’s, zebra, African elephant, Cape Buffalo, warthogs, Waterbucks, Jacksons Hartebeest, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Steinbok, Striped Hyena, Suni, Thomson’s Gazelle and Impala. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded including the Ostrich. Lunch will be served at one of the lodges in the game Sanctuary then followed by a visit to a rhino homestead. A visit to Ol Pejeta conservancy would be in-complete without visiting the multi-cultural Manyatta. Situated just outside the Serat Gate of the Sweetwaters Game Reserve Here clients have a chance to visit Kenya’s tribesmen in replicas of their traditional homesteads and sample their culture. The Masai, Pokot, Turkana, Samburu men and women invite you into their homes and showcase their traditional wares, show off their ritual dances and introduce you to their lifestyle.
