From the elephant herds and baobab dotted plains of Tarangire to the lush forests and flamingo filled lake of Lake Manyara, each destination provides a unique safari experience. The adventure reaches its highlight at the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five.
Your safari starts with an early morning pick up from Arusha, followed by a beautiful drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most peaceful and wildlife rich parks. Tarangire is famous for its large groups of elephants, giant baobab trees, and a wide variety of animals. Once you arrive, you will enjoy a game drive where you can see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, making it a great place for wildlife viewing. After lunch, you will continue with an afternoon game drive until late afternoon. Later, you will leave the park and head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
