  • Day 1 : Spiritual and Historical Tour

    Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

    Start your day with a visit to the famous Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. This temple has been at the center of India's religious and cultural history.

    The temple is under construction, but the site itself is still incredibly important and sacred.

    Kanak Bhawan

    A short drive from the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Kanak Bhawan is dedicated to Lord Ram and Sita. It’s a beautiful temple with grand architecture and is an important site for devotees.

    Midday:
    Hanuman Garhi

    Another significant place in Ayodhya, Hanuman Garhi is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, offering breathtaking views of the city. According to local belief, Hanuman Ji lived here and guarded the city from evil.

    Lunch

    Try some local delicacies such as "Kachori" or "Chole Bhature" at one of the local eateries. Ayodhya offers simple, flavorful North Indian food.

    Afternoon:
    Nageshwarnath Temple

    Visit the Nageshwarnath Temple, a prominent temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It holds special significance as it is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

    Saryu River Ghat

    Evening:
    Ram Ki Paidi

    This is a famous ghat on the banks of the Saryu River. You can sit here, enjoy the sunset, and witness the evening Aarti, which is a mesmerizing experience.

  • Day 2 : Further Exploration

    Morning:
    Madhurya Kashi Vishwanath Temple

    Start the day by visiting this peaceful temple dedicated to Lord Vishwanath. It is one of the famous temples in Ayodhya and offers a tranquil atmosphere.

    Treta Ke Thakur Temple

    This temple is another important stop. It's dedicated to Lord Ram, and the sacred idol is believed to have been installed by Lord Ram himself.

    Midday:
    Lunch

    Afternoon:
    Chhoti Devkali Temple

    Bhavya Ram Mandir

    Evening:
    Visit the Ayodhya Research Centre or Museum

    Saryu River Aarti

    Attend the evening aarti at the Saryu River. The ceremony, with its beautiful chants and lighting of diyas (oil lamps), is one of the most serene and spiritual experiences you can have in Ayodhya.

  • Day 3 : Departure from Ayodhya

    Morning:
    Chitrakoot (1.5 to 2-hour drive from Ayodhya)

    If you have an extra day and are interested in exploring more, head to Chitrakoot, which holds significance as the place where Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman spent time during their exile. You can visit Kamadgiri Hill and Ramghat here.

    Afternoon:
    Janki Kund

    A serene spot dedicated to Sita, where it is believed she took a holy bath.

    Evening:
    Return to Ayodhya for Final Evening Aarti

    End your trip by returning to Ayodhya and experiencing the evening aarti at one of the ghats.
