Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park
We will pick you up in the morning at your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the Zanzibar Airport. Then, you will catch your flight which departs at 6:00 am and arrive at Mtemere airstrip at 6:30 am. Finally, our driver/guide will pick you up from the airport with a lunch box followed by a game drive until the afternoon.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat trip on the Rufiji River, where you will spot hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Africa Safari Se.

After breakfast, we will leave the camp with packed lunches to enjoy a game drive in the Nyerere National Park. You can expect to see large numbers of animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and hyenas. You will also see a large variety of birds and wonderful scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forests, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. Fly from Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar
You will leave for an early morning walking safari in the forest accompanied by a guide. Here you will meet Bushmen and experience various activities before you return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will prepare for your return to Zanzibar. In Zanzibar, we will drop you off at your hotel.
