Pelling, a beautiful town in the West district of Sikkim, has become the second biggest tourist destination in Sikkim after Gangtok. Located 10 km from Geyzing and 130 km from Gangtok, the main attraction of the place is the breathtaking sight of the Khangchendzonga and the neighbouring peaks

The famous Pemayangste monastery is less than a kilometre from here and is a major tourist hotspot. Pelling also has sites for mountain biking, rock climbing, village tours, meditations, apart from serving as a base for a number of treks in the region. The scenic town of Pelling is a perfect holiday destination for all nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts.

Pelling, a beautiful petite town sited at a height of 6800ft was initially covered with wild thick forest which served as home to many indigenous wild animals of that period including Wildman( may not be yeti though). This ridge being situated in between two old Buddhist monasteries (Pemayangtse and Sangacholing) developed into a full-fledged village named Pelling. Today, Pelling is one of the best-chosen tourist hotspots in Sikkim. More than that, Pelling is the heart where all the breathtaking tourist spots of West Sikkim can be visited.

A destination for all seasons, Pelling has hotels and resorts catering to all budgets. Named after the guardian deity of Sikkim, Khangchendzonga Festival is held at Pelling every year.

Day 1

IXB Airport / njp – Pelling ( 4 / 5Hr)

Begin your tour by planning the first evening in Pelling

Upon arrival in Gangtok via flight/train you will meet a tour’s representative at NJP railway station/ Bagdogra. From here you will be transferred to Pelling. Nestling at an altitude of 2150 m, Pelling offers mesmerizing views of Himalayan ranges, Kanchenjunga, and various other mountains. The city is enveloped in the verdant cover of Alpine forests and is lined with numerous waterfalls. This Pelling tour package allows you to plan evening part of your day as per your choice. You can visit the local streets and markets and try out the local cuisines.

The first day of your tour ends with the overnight stay in the hotel.

Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. start your local sightseeing of Pelling from Darap Village this sleepy village is nestled on a gentle slope of the mountain and is mostly occupied by the Limboo tribe, although there are small population of other communities as well. 1st Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. Overnight stay at pelling.

1. Check-in Check-out time is as per hotel policy.
2. On arrival of guest at Airport our executive will be there with the PLA – CARD at Exit Gate on the Airport.
3. The tourism infrastructure in other islands is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of city & other developed destinations.
4. On arrival of guests, we will provide them local contact numbers of our executive, who will handle the entire operation.
5. If for any reason any tourist spot is closed we shall not cover it on next day and if guest wants to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle.
6. Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

* Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
* Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
* Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
