This 3 day fly in safari to the Maasai Mara offers a thrilling and effortless escape to one of Africas most legendary wildlife havens. The experience is suitable for first time safari guests and returning visitors and is designed to appeal to wildlife and local culture interests. The package features a scenic one hour flight from Wilson Airport to the Maasai Mara, accommodation at the luxurious Sarova Mara Game Camp, multiple game drives including early morning and evening safaris, abundant wildlife sightings including the Big Five, and the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration typically from July to October.
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be greeted by a company representative and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scenic one hour flight to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon landing a professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to the luxurious Sarova Mara Game Camp where you will enjoy lunch and time to relax. Later in the afternoon you will head out on your first game drive across the sweeping savannah to view abundant wildlife including the renowned Big Five. The Mara is especially spectacular from July to October during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Day two begins with an early morning game drive which is the prime time for wildlife sightings as animals are most active. Expect to search for lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species, along with rich birdlife from ostriches to falcons and storks. After returning to camp for breakfast there will be leisure time to relax at the camp before heading out again later in the day for an evening safari.
On the final day enjoy one last early morning game drive followed by a return to camp for breakfast and check out. After check out you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Once at Wilson Airport you will either be taken to your hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
