This 3-day fly-in safari to the Maasai Mara offers a thrilling and effortless escape to one of Africas most legendary wildlife havens. The tour includes a scenic one-hour flight from Wilson Airport to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, professional safari guiding, stays at Sarova Mara Game Camp with meals and relaxation time, and daily game drives to view abundant wildlife including the Big Five and seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration from July to October. The itinerary is suitable for first-time and returning safari travelers and combines wildlife viewing, scenic flights, and comfortable camp accommodation.
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scenic one-hour flight to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon landing a professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to the luxurious Sarova Mara Game Camp where you will enjoy lunch and some time to relax. Later in the afternoon you will head out on your first game drive across the sweeping savannah to view abundant wildlife including the renowned Big Five. The Mara is especially spectacular from July to October during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Begin Day 2 with an early morning game drive which is the prime time for wildlife sightings as animals are most active. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species alongside rich birdlife from ostriches to falcons and storks. Return to camp for breakfast and enjoy leisure time at the camp before heading out again for an evening safari to continue wildlife viewing.
On Day 3 enjoy one last early morning game drive followed by return to camp for breakfast and check-out. After check-out you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport you will either be taken to your hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
