This 3 day fly in safari to the Maasai Mara offers a thrilling and effortless escape to one of Africas most legendary wildlife havens. Designed for first time and returning safari guests, the itinerary focuses on wildlife viewing and local culture with scenic flights, guided game drives and comfortable camp accommodation. Highlights include a one hour scenic flight from Wilson Airport, morning and evening game drives in search of the Big Five and abundant birdlife, and the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration between July and October.
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be met by a representative and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scenic one hour flight to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. On landing a professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to Sarova Mara Game Camp for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon you will embark on your first game drive across the sweeping savannah to view abundant wildlife including the Big Five. The Mara is especially spectacular from July to October during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Day two begins with an early morning game drive which is prime time for wildlife sightings as animals are most active. Expect opportunities to observe lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species along with rich birdlife. After returning to camp for breakfast you will have leisure time at camp before heading out again for an evening safari.
On the final day enjoy one last early morning game drive followed by a return to camp for breakfast and check out. After check out you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport you will be transferred either to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward travel.
