3 Days Maasai Mara Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. You will depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. A brief stop is made at the Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views, capture photos, and browse locally made souvenirs while learning about the valley’s fascinating formation. Continue your journey to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After some relaxation, embark on your first exciting afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannah in search of the Big Five and other wildlife as the sun sets over the plains. Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s richest wildlife ecosystems. The day begins with an early morning game drive widely regarded as the best time to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs when they are most active. After breakfast, continue with an extended game drive across the reserve, tracking the Big Five and a wide variety of plains game. You will head towards the Mara River area, famous for its resident hippos and Nile crocodiles, where you will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. In the afternoon, proceed with further game viewing, taking in the breathtaking savannah landscapes and abundant wildlife, especially during the Great Migration season. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
