The tour includes scenic drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, immersive game drives to spot big wildlife including the Big Five and seasonal wildebeest migration, optional Maasai village visits and hot air balloon safaris, and returns to Nairobi late afternoon on day 3.
Pick up from the hotel or residence in Nairobi early morning between 7:00 and 8:00 AM, drive to Maasai Mara with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, have lunch en route or at the camp, arrive at Maasai Mara in the early afternoon and undertake an afternoon game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes and zebras, then dinner and overnight at a camp or lodge inside or near the reserve.
Full day in Maasai Mara with an early breakfast followed by a full day game drive from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a picnic lunch. Explore the Mara ecosystem to encounter the Big Five and, in season between July and October, the wildebeest migration. Visit the Mara River to see crocodiles and hippos. Optional extra activities such as Maasai village visits and hot air balloon safaris are available. Return to the same lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Early morning game drive from 6:30 to 9:00 AM followed by breakfast at the camp, then depart Maasai Mara and drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route and arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
