3 Days Samburu Game Reserve Tour

Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs. Safari Briefing and passing the majestic Mt. Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu Game Reserve, arrives in Samburu in late afternoon. You will have a lunch en-route. After check in in your camp/lodge, leave to the camp for evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Campsite.

Full day in Samburu with picnic lunch. Optional visit to Samburu villages and Samburu Game Reserve has Several species are considered unique to the region, including its ts unique dry-country animal life: All three big cats, lion, cheetah and leopard, can be found here, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos and Ewaso Ngiro river contains large numbers of Nile crocodile.
Other mammals frequently seen in the park include gerenuk, warthogs, Grant’s gazelle, Kirk’s dik-dik, impala, waterbuck, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. 350 species of bird have been recorded. These include Somali ostrich, grey-headed kingfisher, sunbirds, bee-eaters, marabou stork, tawny eagle, bateleur, vulturine guineafowl,yellow throated spurfowl, lilac-breasted roller, palm nut vulture, red-billed hornbill, secretary bird, Verreaux’s eagle, superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.

After breakfast leave Samburu to Nairobi where your tour ends arriving in late afternoon.
