Package Overview

Somaliland: Echoes of Antiquity & Coastal Soul Step off the beaten path and into one of Africa’s best-kept secrets. Often overlooked, Somaliland is a bastion of stability and profound history in the Horn of Africa. This curated 3-day expedition is designed for the discerning traveler, offering a rare look at a nation that balances deep-rooted pastoral traditions with a resilient modern identity. From the high-energy markets of the capital to the silent, vivid galleries of 5,000-year-old rock art, this journey bridges the gap between the Neolithic era and the colonial maritime past. Why Choose This Tour? Ancient Wonders: Experience Laas Geel, home to some of the best-preserved prehistoric rock paintings in the world, still vibrant after five millennia. Cultural Immersion: Witness the legendary Livestock Market of Hargeisa, where the regional economy moves through the trade of thousands of camels and goats. Colonial Layers: Wander the "ghostly" yet grand old town of Berbera, where Ottoman, Persian, and British architecture tell the story of a once-mighty Red Sea port. Modern Resilience: See a different side of the region—a self-governed, peaceful territory with a unique story of independence and survival.
