Amboseli is known for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large herds of elephants. It offers a very different safari experience from the Maasai Mara, with open, dusty plains and lush wetlands.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi to Amboseli & Afternoon Game Drive

  Morning: Depart from Nairobi early in the morning for the 4-5 hour drive to Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you through scenic, semi-arid landscapes.
  
  Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge for lunch. After a brief rest, embark on an afternoon game drive. The main highlight is the sheer number of elephants, which often gather in the swamps.
  
  Evening: Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp with a view of Kilimanjaro.

• Day 2 : Full Day in Amboseli with Kilimanjaro Views

  Morning: Rise early for a pre-breakfast game drive. The skies are often clearest in the morning, giving you the best chance to see the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in all its glory.
  
  Mid-day: Return for breakfast. You can then visit Observation Hill for a panoramic view of the entire park, including the swamps below, where you can spot hippos and other animals.
  
  Afternoon: Continue your game drives, focusing on different areas of the park, such as the dried-up lake bed where heat mirages create fascinating illusions.
  
  Evening: Enjoy dinner and overnight at your lodge, possibly with a traditional Maasai cultural show.

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 3 : Final Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

  Morning: A final early morning game drive before breakfast. This is your last chance to get close to the wildlife and capture some final photos.
  
  Late Morning: After breakfast, you will check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early to mid-afternoon. Your tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
