Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Morning:
Drive from Arusha to Tarangire: Begin your adventure with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, roughly 120 kilometers away. The route offers scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside, with the chance to see small villages and local wildlife along the way.
Arrive in Tarangire and Start Game Drive: As you enter Tarangire, enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species. This park is particularly well-known for its diverse landscapes, including swamps and savannahs.

Afternoon:
Picnic Lunch in the Park: Take a break for lunch at a designated picnic site within the park. Enjoy your meal while surrounded by the sounds of nature and the vibrant wildlife nearby.
Continue Game Drive: After lunch, continue your game drive, focusing on areas near the Tarangire River, which attracts a high concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Keep an eye out for the elusive leopard, as well as waterbucks and impalas.

Evening:

Serengeti National Park

Morning:

Ngorongoro Crater

Morning:

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. The lush caldera floor is teeming with wildlife and is one of the best places to see the Big Five in one day.
Descent into the Crater: Upon arrival, begin the descent into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater floor offers the chance to see a wide variety of animals, including elephants, flamingos, gazelles, and even the endangered black rhino.
