4-Day Amboseli Tsavo West and East Mid Range

Pick up from either your hotel or the airport in Nairobi for a briefing before departure to Amboseli National Park. On arrival at the camp check in and have lunch. In the afternoon depart for a game drive across Amboseli, a park characterized by an ancient dry lake bed, grassland, acacia woodland and scenic volcanic hills with lush swamp vegetation. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

After breakfast depart Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park, a drive of less than three hours with game viewing en route. Visit the famous Mzima Springs to see hippos and fish in crystalline clear water. Arrive at the lodge and check in for lunch. Relax at the lodge until 16h00 when the driver collects you for a two hour afternoon game drive, with opportunities to spot maneless lions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast check out and proceed to Tsavo East National Park with game viewing along the way. Arrive at your lodge early afternoon for a hot lunch and relax while enjoying activities offered by the facility. Around 15h00 the tour guide will pick you up for a game drive to Aruba Dam; Tsavo East is known for the historic man eaters of Tsavo and abundant wildlife. Continue game drives until late evening and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Final morning rise at sunrise to follow animal trails in search of any sightings missed earlier. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and then proceed to Mombasa or Malindi. You will be dropped at your residence, beach hotel or the airport early in the evening. End of tour; additional accommodation can be arranged at extra cost.
