4-Day Mid-Range Safari

Pick up from your Arusha hotel in the morning and transfer by road to Lake Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 hours. Late morning and afternoon are spent on a guided game drive through Tarangire NP where guests will enjoy scenery and wildlife viewing in a quieter park often less crowded than Serengeti or Ngorongoro. In the afternoon transfer by road to Furaha Luxury Lodge, located at the gateway to the Serengeti in Esilalei Village, arriving in time for lunch and evening activities. The day includes a trip briefing and the official start of the safari.

Morning transfer from Furaha Luxury Lodge to the gates of Serengeti National Park, approximately 1 hour. Late morning into afternoon the transfer doubles as a game drive as you move into the Central/Northern Serengeti region and proceed to Mbuni Tented Camp. The day offers excellent Serengeti wildlife viewing including big cats, elephants, giraffe, impala, zebra, wildebeest and many bird species and showcases iconic Serengeti scenery of acacia trees, golden grasslands and kopjes.

Full day of safari activities in the Serengeti with morning to afternoon game drives heading south from Mbuni Tented Camp. Afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge located in the southern area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The day continues with extensive wildlife viewing and iconic Serengeti landscapes and ends with arrival at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning guided game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater with the descent into the crater described as one of the most thrilling approaches for a day of wildlife viewing. Guests will spend most of the day inside the crater looking for lions, hyenas, black rhinos and other wildlife in the enclosed ecosystem. In the afternoon transfer back to Arusha marking the end of the safari. Meal plan includes breakfast and lunch and drinks on the jeep.
