This 4 day 3 night safari departs on September 4 2027 and visits Central Serengeti National Park Southern Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater before returning to Kilimanjaro Airport. Accommodation is in Serengeti Safari Lodge for nights 1 and 2 and Karatu Tented Lodge on night 3. The itinerary includes guided game drives to search for elephants big cats and the great migration as well as exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater floor with opportunities to see rhinos hyenas lions and a variety of savannah wildlife. Meals are provided as per the day by day meal plan and transfers to and from Kilimanjaro Airport are included.
Day 1 Saturday September 4 2027 begins at Kilimanjaro Airport and takes you into the heart of Central Serengeti National Park where you will be based at Serengeti Safari Lodge. The lodge offers savannah views terraces pool bar and dining tent. In the afternoon enjoy a guided game drive across the Central Serengeti searching for elephants big cats and many other species while taking in the iconic acacia trees and open grasslands. Meals for the day are Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 Sunday September 5 2027 is spent in Southern Serengeti National Park where wide savannahs rocky outcrops and river valleys provide excellent sightings of cheetahs lions leopards and plains animals. The day highlights include viewing the great migration where masses of wildebeest zebra and other wildlife may fill the horizon and the chance to witness predator action when it occurs. You remain at Serengeti Safari Lodge with Breakfast Lunch and Dinner provided.
Day 3 Monday September 6 2027 moves to Ngorongoro Crater with accommodation at Karatu Tented Lodge located between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. The Ngorongoro Crater offers a dramatic bowl shaped landscape about 19 kilometers across with a rich self contained ecosystem on the crater floor. In the afternoon you will take a guided game drive around the crater floor where you may see lions black rhinos spotted hyenas elephants and a variety of habitats from forest to salty Lake Magadi. Meals for the day are Breakfast Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4 Tuesday September 7 2027 is the final day. After breakfast you will depart the lodge and be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward travel. This is the last morning of the safari and marks the end of the 4 day itinerary.
