This 5 day trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro begins at Kilimanjaro Airport and spans Tarangire National Park, Central and Southern Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The itinerary includes guided game drives to view elephants, big cats, the great migration, and the unique ecosystem of Ngorongoro Crater, comfortable lodge accommodations including Tarangire Sopa Lodge, Serengeti Safari Lodge and Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, and meals as specified per day. On arrival you will be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred into Tarangire National Park where you will stay at Tarangire Sopa Lodge inside the park. In the afternoon enjoy a guided game drive through Tarangire, a park known for elephants, baobabs and diverse wildlife. Accommodation is at Tarangire Sopa Lodge which offers pool, restaurant and views over the park. Meals for the day are lunch and dinner.
Transfer from Tarangire area to Central Serengeti National Park and stay at Serengeti Safari Lodge inside the Central Serengeti. In the afternoon explore the Central Serengeti on a guided game drive where there are excellent chances to see big cats, elephants and many other species across the savannah grasslands and iconic acacia trees. Accommodation provides terrace views, pool, bar and dining facilities. Meals for the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Spend the day in the Southern Serengeti National Park based at Serengeti Safari Lodge. The southern area offers extensive plains, rocky outcrops and river valleys where cheetahs, lions and leopards can be seen. This day includes opportunities to view the great migration with vast numbers of wildebeest and zebra on the plains and predator action where present. Meals for the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner and activities are focused on morning wildlife viewing and migration observation.
Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater area and stay at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge situated a short drive from the crater rim. The crater is a vast natural bowl hosting a self contained ecosystem with lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, Lake Magadi and varied habitats. In the afternoon enjoy a guided game drive on the crater floor where you can encounter iconic species and explore the valley floor. Meals for the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This is the final day of the safari. After breakfast at the lodge you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward departure. The day includes a morning transfer and departure arrangements. Meal for the day is breakfast.
