Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Moshi where your safari begins. After arrival you will be greeted by the local team and taken to East Point Hotel in Moshi. In the afternoon there is a guided tour of Moshi giving you an introduction to the town, local markets and dining options, and time to ask any questions and settle in.

Early morning activities focus on Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding foothills. The day includes a hike towards Mandara Hut on Mount Kilimanjaro with scenic forest and village views as the slopes steepen. Accommodation is at East Point Hotel with meals provided throughout the day.

Travel to Tarangire National Park where landscapes are dominated by giant baobab trees and large elephant populations. The park offers excellent sightings of elephants, big cats, zebra, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and sometimes African wild dog. The morning is reserved for a guided game drive led by an expert guide, exploring the park and its wildlife, followed by overnight at Karatu Tented Lodge.

Visit Lake Manyara National Park with its bird rich lake, Rift Valley escarpment and forest strip. The park is known for tree-climbing lions and large elephant populations. The morning includes a treetop walk through elevated boardwalks and suspension bridges offering unique views and potential wildlife sightings. Return to Karatu Tented Lodge for accommodation.

Move into the Central Serengeti where chances of seeing big cats are excellent. In the afternoon enjoy a guided game drive in the Central Serengeti heartland, searching the savannah and acacia-dotted plains for elephants, lions, leopards and other species. Accommodation is at Serengeti Safari Lodge inside or near the park.

Explore the Southern Serengeti where expansive plains, acacia trees and rocky outcrops create superb wildlife viewing. This area offers excellent opportunities to see cheetahs, lions, leopards and the vast numbers of wildebeest and zebra associated with the great migration. The afternoon is dedicated to viewing the great migration and other wildlife activities, with overnight at Serengeti Safari Lodge.

Visit Ngorongoro Crater, a vast natural bowl with a rich, self contained ecosystem. The afternoon includes a guided game drive across the crater floor where you may see lions, spotted hyenas, elephants, Grant's gazelle and possibly black rhinos, as well as features such as Lerai Forest and Lake Magadi. Accommodation is at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge with scenic access to the crater rim.

This is the final day of your safari. After breakfast you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure on March 6, 2027. The morning transfer concludes the 8 day, 7 night itinerary.
