Upon arrival at Kasane Airport or border entry, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge located near the Chobe River, on the edge of Chobe National Park. After check-in and a short rest, the afternoon is dedicated to your first safari experience. You will enjoy a boat cruise along the Chobe River, one of the most iconic wildlife viewing experiences in Africa. This is where large elephant herds gather along the riverbanks, often swimming across channels, while hippos, crocodiles, and buffalo dominate the waterways. The sunset over the river creates a dramatic safari atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge in the Chobe area.

The day begins with an early morning game drive inside Chobe National Park. This is the best time for predator activity and active wildlife movement. Expect sightings of elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and abundant antelope species across open plains and woodland areas. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out. You will then transfer to Kasane Airport for your scheduled flight to the Okavango Delta (typically via light aircraft, depending on lodge location and availability). Upon arrival in the Delta, you will be transferred to your remote safari camp located deep within the waterways.
