Mani Mahesh Lake is located 35 kms from Bharmour. It is also called Chamba Kailash. The lake is on the base of Mani Mahesh Peak (5486 mts/17995 ft).The lake is famous for Mani Mahesh Yatra (pilgrimage).The pilgrimage starts in Bharmour. Bharmour has beautiful ancient temples. Also the Mani Mahesh peak has remained unconquered so far.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Pathankot to bharmour by cab

Dalhousie Hills Khajjiar Hills Chamera Lake Laxmi Narayan Temple

Day 1: Reception at Pathankot & drive to Bharmour (190 Kms by Taxi)
On arrival at Pathankot meet our guide and after Reception & welcome drive to Bharmour via Chamba. After reaching Bharmour check into hotel. And in evening join the Aarti at Chaurasi temples.

Day 2

Bharmour hadsar dhancho

Day 2: Bharmour - Hardsar – Dancho (2280 mts/7479 ft)
On arrival at bharmour meet our guide and drive up to Hardsar and then further trek to Dancho. From Hardsar, we gradually ascend to Dancho. It will take around three hrs to walk these 7 kms. Dinner & overnight stay in tent.

Day 3

Dhanchho gaurikund Kamal kund Manimahesh Lake

Day 3: Dancho (2550m) - Mani Mahesh (3950m) - Dancho
After a refreshing breakfast, we leave for Gaurikund and then to Mani Mahesh lake. There are two ways to reach Mani Mahesh: one is through Bandar Ghati and the other is the route which is generally for visitors. The temple here is one of the most ancient in the hills of Himachal. After Darshan trek back to Dancho. Overnight in camps.

Day 4

Dhancho Hadsar Bharmour

Dancho – Hardsar – Bharmour
In the morning after breakfast trek back to Hardsar and from here drive to Bharmour. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 5

Pathankot

Laxmi Narayan Temple Chamba Hills Chamera Lake

Day 5: Bharmour - Chamba – Pathankot (190 Kms by Taxi)
After breakfast the departure of troop will be done from Bharmour. Move to Chamba take here lunch and visit here Laxmi Narayan Temple and Bhuri Singh Museum. After that move further to Pathankot.
