Package Overview

Shrikhand Mahadev is one of the five Kailash peaks and is considered the most difficult to trek, situated at an altitude of 18,500 feet above sea level. The journey is 34 kilometers one way, consisting mostly of steep climbs. To successfully complete this trek, you must be in peak physical and mental condition. Prior practice and fitness preparation are highly recommended.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival At Jaon

Arrive at Jaon and check-in to homestay. Spend the day at leisure, acclimatize to the surroundings and prepare for the trek. Overnight stay at homestay.

Day 2 Trek From Jaon To Thachdu

Early morning, begin the trek towards Shrikhand Kailash. Trek approx 14 km through dense forests and scenic trails to reach Thachdu. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 3 Thachdu To Bhimdwari

Trek approx 13 km from Thachdu to Bhimdwari. The route passes through beautiful yet challenging stretches like Kali Ghati, Bhimtalai and Kunsha. Overnight stay at Bhimdwari camps.

Day 4 Bhimdwari To Parwati Bagh

A shorter and lighter trek of around 3 km to Parwati Bagh. This day is for rest and acclimatization. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 5 Shrikhand Kailash Darshan

Early morning trek towards the sacred Shrikhand Kailash peak (approx 18,500 ft). After Darshan, trek back to Bhimdwari. Total trek approx 15 km. Overnight stay at camps.

Day 6 Bhimdwari To Thachdu

Begin the descent from Bhimdwari back to Thachdu through the same scenic route. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 7 Thachdu To Jaon

Continue descent towards Jaon. Reach base village and relax after completing the trek. Overnight stay at homestay.

Day 8 Departure

After breakfast, check-out from homestay and depart with unforgettable memories of Shrikhand Kailash Yatra.

The journey is strictly dependent on weather conditions.
You are responsible for your own safety during the journey; however, full support will be provided from our side.
If a passenger decides to return mid-journey, no refunds will be provided for any reason.
If the trek takes an extra day, an additional charge of INR 2,000 per person will apply.
Full payment of the package must be cleared on the first day.
Accommodation post-journey (after returning to the drop point) will be at your own expense.
If you require a dedicated personal porter, extra charges will apply.
Hiring porter services through the package is mandatory to join the trip.
