Day 1

Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway station. After greetings, Visit Kamakhya Temple, (if time. permits and Umananda Temple (situated at the smallest river island on the river Brahmaputra) we will take you to Shillong, also called the Scotland of the East. You will come across the Umiam Lake (Barapani) while

traveling from Guwahati to Shillong, capturing the mesmerizing beauty it has to offer. You may take a ride on a speed boat (at additional cost). Later, Upon arrival, visit the Don Bosco Museum, Ward's Lake, Police Bazaar Lady Hydari Park, Catholic Church, and Airforce Museum Check after check-in to your hotel & stay overnight. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel & stay overnight.

Day 3

Cherrapunjee - Nongriat Trek (Double Decker Root Bridge) - Cherrapunjee OR Cherrapunji excursion

Early morning (6 AM) your journey to Double Decker Root Bridge, deep in the dense tropical forest Meghalaya is a must visit destination known for its numerous waterfalls. It's a 3000 step joumey (Trek) down the hill and the trek starts from Tyrna Village (10 Kms from Sohra, Cherrapunjee). Start the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge (Nongriat) with the local guide (guide cost excluded). The aprox. Time to complete the journey (both ways) is 5-6 Hrs. Later on, you can also extend your hike to Rainbow Falls (60 minutes hike from Nongriat). Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee. OR Cherrapunjee Excursion After breakfast, get ready to explore Cherrapunjee. Visit Seven Sisters Waterfall, Eco Park, NohKatikai Falls, Arwah Cave, Wah-Kaba Falls & Garden of Caves. in the evening, return to your hotel/homestay and enjoy the beautiful evening.
