Nafran Valley or Nafar Valley trek is the most unexplored trek in Kashmir, it falls in the foothills of Mount Kholai & is fed by Kholai glacier. Trek passes through beautiful valleys, river streams, mountain ridges, glaciers, waterfalls & exotic flora and fauna. Average altitude of this trek is 3000 mts from sea level & is basic to advance kind of trekking. is one among the most famous high altitude Alpine trek in Kashmir. This trek starts from Aru Valley Pahalgam and passes through Beautiful meadows of Nagpathri, Aarampathri, Dengipani, Nafran Valley and finally leads to Harnag and Harbhagwan Alpine lakes set in
mighty Himalayas. One can descend by taking different route of Baltal Sonmarg or by through green top valley which leads directly to Pahalgam.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Srinagar

Arrive Srinagar Airport & Proceed to Pahalgam (Approx 96 kms and will take 2 hrs). On the way drive along Lidder river, pass through beautiful villages, apple orchids, mighty Himalayan. Arrive Pahalgam and check in at your hotel. You have full day in Pahalgam to relax, do some sightseeing , prepare yourself for this adventure. Dinner and overnight at Pahalgam hotel.

Day 2

(pahalgam To Nafran Valley)

After early breakfast checkout from Pahalgam hotel and then proceed to Aru Valley by car (apprx 16 kms and will take 45 min). Arrive Aru valley and get ready for the trek. Start your trek and pass through scented pine forests & river streams.Make a short stop at Nagpathri. It’s a beautiful small valley bisected by Lidder river steam coming from Kolahi Glacier. Continue with your trek and Lunch at Aarampathri (Aarampathri is a local Kashmiri word meaning Resting place) Post lunch continue your trek and pass through Dengipani then continue your trail through rocks. Arrive Nafran Valley. It’s a beautiful valley and stretched to many many kms. Tonight you will camp at Nafran Valley. Evejbg free to relax in the valley. Dinner and overnight at Nafran Valley.

Day 3

(nafran Valley - Harbhagwan Lake – Harnag Lake)

After breakfast, proceed to Harbhagwan lake. Today’s trek is steep and you have to pass through rocks. Arrive Harbhagwan Lake and then free time there for an hour, later continue with your trek and arrive Harnag Lake. Overnight stay at Harnag Lake in tents. Dinner and overnight at Harnag Lake

Day 4

(harnag To Baltal)

After breakfast, start your trek descending towards Baltal. Arrive Baltal, meet your vehicle there and proceed to Sonmarg. Overnight stay at the hotel in Sonmarg. Later free time to relax and for personnel activities in sonmarg. Dinner and overnight at sonmarg hotel.

Day 5

Departure

After breakfast check out from Sonmatg hotel and proceed to Srinagar airport to board your return flight back home. Arrive srinagar and then checkin at airport to board your flight as per flight details via same route. Arrive Aharbal & then meet your vehivcle at parking and proceed back to Srinagar. Overnight at Srinagar Hotel.
