After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzanias most captivating wildlife destinations known for giant baobab trees, vast savannahs and large elephant populations. The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife year-round including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and numerous antelope species and more than 500 bird species. Enjoy an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the park before proceeding to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge.
After an early breakfast depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to one of Africas highest concentrations of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas and the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch on the crater floor. After the crater visit continue through scenic highlands and vast plains toward Serengeti National Park, famed for its endless grasslands, the Great Migration and extraordinary wildlife. Depending on your flight schedule you may choose to unwind at the lodge or take part in optional cultural activities. Options include visiting Mto wa Mbu village for plantation walks, local school visits and a tuk-tuk or bicycle ride through the community or enjoying a coffee tour in Karatu if offered by your lodge. Later transfer to the airport marking the end of the Tanzanian safari.
