5-DAY NORTHERN TANZANIA MID-RANGE SAFARI

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Arusha the gateway to Tanzanias famous Northern Safari Circuit. Arusha is situated at the foot of Mount Meru and is a vibrant town surrounded by coffee plantations and picturesque landscapes. Depending on your arrival time you may relax at your lodge and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay before beginning your wildlife exploration the following morning. After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park one of Tanzanias most captivating wildlife destinations. Covering nearly 3 000 square kilometers the park is renowned for its giant baobab trees vast savannah landscapes and large elephant populations. The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife year round including lions giraffes zebras wildebeest buffaloes and numerous antelope species and more than 500 bird species. Enjoy an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the park before proceeding to Karatu for dinner and overnight. Accommodation is Farm of Dreams Lodge with Full Board meals included.

After an early breakfast depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts one of Africas highest concentrations of wildlife including lions elephants buffaloes hippos hyenas and the endangered black rhinoceros. After enjoying a game drive and a picnic lunch on the crater floor continue your journey through scenic highlands and vast plains toward Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is famous for its endless grasslands extraordinary wildlife and the Great Migration. Arrive at camp in the evening for dinner and overnight. Accommodation is Moyo Tented Camp with Full Board meals.

Begin the day with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park Tanzania's most iconic wildlife sanctuary renowned for endless plains remarkable biodiversity and the annual Great Migration. Experience exceptional wildlife viewing of lions leopards cheetahs hyenas elephants and numerous plains species. After lunch depart the Serengeti and travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Karatu arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight. Accommodation is Farm of Dreams Lodge with Full Board meals.

After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu enjoy a relaxed morning before your transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Depending on your flight schedule you may choose to unwind at the lodge or take part in optional activities such as visiting Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural experience including plantation walks local school visits and a tuk-tuk or bicycle ride through the community or enjoying a coffee tour in Karatu if offered by your lodge. Later transfer to the airport marking the end of your memorable Tanzanian safari. Meal plan for the day includes Breakfast and Lunch.
