• Day 1 : Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Akagera National Park

  Arrival: Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where your guide will meet you and brief you on the upcoming adventure.
  Transfer to Akagera National Park: Drive to Akagera National Park, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours.
  Afternoon Game Drive: Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
  Dinner & Overnight: Check into your lodge within the park.

  Morning Game Drive: Rise early for a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park. Discover the park’s rich biodiversity, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
  Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park with stunning views of the savannah.
  Boat Safari on Lake Ihema: In the afternoon, take a boat safari on Lake Ihema to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds.

  Evening at Leisure: Arrive at Volcanoes National Park in the late afternoon. Spend the evening at your lodge, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking.

  Gorilla Trekking: Start the day early with a briefing at the park headquarters before embarking on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the dense forest to find a family of mountain gorillas and spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures.
  Post-Trek Relaxation: Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon is free to explore optional activities such as visiting the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village or taking a nature walk.
  Dinner & Overnight: Enjoy dinner at your lodge.

  Departure: Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
