  Buddha Dordenma – giant Buddha statue with panoramic views

  Stroll around Thimphu town (Clock Tower Square, local cafés)
  Dinner at a local Bhutanese restaurant
  (Try: Ema Datshi, Red Rice, Suja – butter tea)
  Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu

• Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing

  Morning
  Folk Heritage Museum
  National Textile Museum
  Changangkha Lhakhang – oldest temple in Thimphu
  Zorig Chusum Institute – traditional arts & crafts school

  Motithang Takin Preserve – see Bhutan’s national animal
  Simtokha Dzong – oldest dzong in Bhutan
  
  Evening
  Visit local handicraft shops
  Optional: Try a traditional hot stone bath

• Day 3 : Thimphu to Paro – Sightseeing

  Drive back to Paro

  Tamchog Lhakhang (Iron Chain Bridge)

  Rinpung Dzong – fortress-monastery with beautiful architecture
  National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong)
  Kyichu Lhakhang – one of the oldest temples in Bhutan
  
  Evening
  Leisure walk around Paro town
  Café hopping or local shopping
  Overnight: Hotel in Paro

  • Themes Sightseeing
• Day 4 : Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang)

  Full Day
  Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
  Approx. 5-6 hour round trip
  Option for mule ride halfway (if needed)
  Pack water/snacks, wear good hiking shoes
  
  Late Afternoon
  Return to hotel, relax or opt for a massage
  Farewell dinner with Bhutanese cuisine
  Overnight: Hotel in Paro

• Day 5 : Departure from Paro

  Transfer to Paro International Airport
