Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arusha

  You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long and the day when it begins has finally arrived. We'll greet you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions. Then we'll take you out to discover what this incredible country has to offer.
  Arusha is a fun city to explore, a fascinating urban complement to the thrills on offer elsewhere in northern Tanzania's safari parks. Here you'll get to experience lively streets, tasty local food, and busy markets and museums. More than anything else, it's a window into life in a provincial Tanzanian city.
  
  Stay close to Arusha at Kahawa House, but in a lovely setting with trees all around and views of Mt Meru. Accommodation is in nicely decorated and bright rooms with good bathrooms in a handsome country house. The swimming pool offers welcome relief from the heat of northern Tanzania, while you can also dine well in the onsite restaurant.

• Day 2 : Arusha National Park

  You won’t find any more beautiful corner of the Rift Valley than Arusha National Park. Yes, you’ll see wildlife – giraffe, zebra and buffalo are present and the birdlife is wonderfully varied. But it’s the scenery here that most travelers remember, from the near-perfect volcanic cone that crowns the summit of Mt Meru to the Ngurdoto Crater, which often goes by the name of ‘Little Ngorongoro’. And by focusing on the scenery rather than the animals, your visit to Arusha National Park nicely complements the other parks of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

• Day 3 : Tarangire National Park

  We think you’ll be impressed with Tarangire National Park. Most visitors love the distinct shapes of the baobab trees silhouetted against the sky that make this place feel like a fairy-tale African landscape. Or visitors remember the elephants that roam in family bands everywhere throughout the park. If you’re lucky, you’ll also encounter the big cats – lions especially, but also cheetahs and leopards – that are always a possibility here. And there’s a fair degree of certainty that you will tick wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, buffalo and zebra off your wildlife-viewing list.
  
  There's so much for you to enjoy when you stay at Conserve Safari Camp - Tarangire, which puts you in the perfect position to enjoy this leg of your safari.

• Day 4 : Karatu And Manyara National Park

  Enjoy quiet, little Karatu. Its busy main street is a window on urban life in a small provincial town, but it’s much quieter just a few blocks away from the main road. Shop, go to the bank or simply walk the streets – all are possible here.Then after the small walking in karatu your guide will take you to Lake Manyara National Park for a halfday game drive then back to your lodge gibbs farm for a lunch, resting and waiting for an evening activity at gibbs farm were you will enjoy the coffee harvesting vegitable harvesting, you will even get chance to visit livestock like cows.
  
  Wake up to the smell of coffee at Gibb's Farm, between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro, as it has its very own coffee plantation. The historic buildings here, all lovingly restored, date back to the 1920s and the rooms are superb. The views, the peace and quiet, and the swimming pool will also be highlights of your stay here.

• Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater

  You’ll learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano – quite apart from the altitude – will leave you gasping for air. Your drive down a steep trail carries you onto the crater floor where a unique wildlife offering is added to the sheer beauty of the experience. You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos. An ecosystem that has formed in the crater in the millennia since the volcano wrought its terrible fury upon the land. It could just be one of your best safari days ever. After game drive your guide will drive you direct to Arusha then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight back home.
