5 Days Tanzania Safari Tour

Your journey starts in Arusha, to Tarangire National Park which takes 2 and half hours. You’ll go on a full day game drive around the park. Have the option of a walking safari if you want to experience walking within the park. The park’s name comes from the Tarangire River which spans across the park and provides a water source for its many inhabitants. The park is famous for its huge heard of majestic African elephants.

After breakfast we descend to Serengeti National Park, via Mto wa mbu, Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park, with the Seronera River. The Serengeti is the home to all of the Big Five and spanning 30,000 km². We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, dinner and overnight in the hotel/camp.

Before sunrise, we begin our game; we will have a full day game drive in Seronera central part of Serengeti. The central Serengeti is famous for high number of wildlife which you can see within a short time. You can see Rhinos, leopards, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and many more. The other key activity that you can enjoy is a Serengeti balloon safaris take place before sunrise and view you view of the Serengeti savannah, animals and birds, but this is optional. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the centre in the shade of trees surrounded by monkeys and baboons. Later in the evening drive to the hotel/camp for evening leisure and overnight.

After breakfast we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of Lion and some formidably large Cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch and later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation for overnight.

You will have early morning game drive to Ngorongoro inside the Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most beautiful African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including black Rhino. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the Crater as its important point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources with local people who promote and conserve the environment. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism. Later in the evening descend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha.
