This 5-day Tanzania safari takes you through the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit, offering outstanding wildlife encounters and spectacular scenery. The journey covers Tarangire National Park, the vast plains of the Serengeti, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
The safari is conducted in a private 4x4 vehicle with a professional English-speaking guide and includes carefully selected mid-range accommodations. All stays in Karatu are at Hhando Coffee Lodge, set in a peaceful coffee plantation and ideal for relaxation before and after safari adventures.
Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, vast savannah landscapes, and large elephant herds. Enjoy an extensive game drive with picnic lunch before continuing to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park (via Ngorongoro Highlands)
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing rolling hills and Maasai villages. Continue into Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive en route to camp.

Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The park is home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of plains game.

Serengeti – Karatu
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing the park. Drive back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arrive in Karatu in the late afternoon for rest and relaxation.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and flamingos at Lake Magadi.
After a game drive and picnic lunch, ascend and drive back to Arusha where the safari ends.
