This 5 day 4 night Maasai Mara safari departs from Nairobi and explores the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Guests are picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or their Nairobi hotel and travel via the Great Rift Valley with scenic photo stops. Accommodation is at a lodge or camp with daily game drives focused on spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and other wildlife, with special highlights including the Mara River, sunrise and sunset game drives, optional Maasai Village visits and an optional hot air balloon safari with champagne bush breakfast. Pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your hotel in Nairobi and meet your professional safari guide. Depart for Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley with scenic stopovers for photography. Arrive at the lodge or camp in time for lunch, check in and relax before an afternoon game drive to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Begin with an early breakfast and embark on a full day game drive across different regions of the reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve while continuing to search for the Big Five and other wildlife. Visit the Mara River and continue wildlife viewing until the evening before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Experience a sunrise game drive to maximize wildlife sightings followed by an optional visit to a Maasai Village for cultural interaction. Return to the lodge for lunch then enjoy an afternoon game drive focused on further wildlife viewing and bird watching. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise is available at additional cost followed by a champagne bush breakfast for those participating. Guests may relax at the lodge or enjoy another game drive in the reserve. The day finishes with a farewell dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast and check out depart Maasai Mara and return to Nairobi with scenic stops along the way. Guests are dropped off at their hotel or the airport concluding the safari.
