This 5 day 4 night Maasai Mara safari begins in Nairobi and includes travel via the Great Rift Valley to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Guests are met by a professional safari guide and transferred to their lodge or camp with scenic photography stopovers. The itinerary features multiple game drives including morning and afternoon drives, wildlife viewing of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and a variety of birds, a visit to the Mara River, and optional experiences such as a Maasai Village visit and a hot air balloon safari with champagne bush breakfast. Meals are provided as indicated and transfers, park fees and a 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with professional guide are included.
Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your hotel in Nairobi and meet and greet by your professional safari guide. Depart for Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley with scenic stopovers for photography and arrive at the lodge or camp in time for lunch. After check in and relaxation there is an afternoon game drive to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and other wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Early breakfast followed by a full day game drive in the reserve with a picnic lunch. Explore different regions of the Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five and visit the Mara River, continuing wildlife viewing until evening. Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay. Sunrise game drive to maximise sightings during early morning activity. Option to visit a Maasai Village for cultural experience. Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise available at additional cost followed by a champagne bush breakfast after the balloon safari. Day at leisure to relax at the lodge or enjoy another game drive in the reserve. End the day with a farewell dinner and overnight stay. Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Breakfast and check out from the lodge or camp followed by the return journey to Nairobi with scenic stops en route. Drop off at hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to conclude the safari. Meals provided: Breakfast.
