Package Overview

Day 1
Land at paro airport, and drive to one of the farm house. If time permits visit Kichu Temple ( one of the oldest temple in the country) and national museum.

Day 2
Hike Tigernest, in the evening do traditional hot stone bath.

Day 3
Drive to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan which is an hour drive from Paro. On the way visit Tamcho Temple, Chuzom ( a river confluence ) then visit Thimphu festival. Check in the hotel.

Day 4
Visit changangkha Temple. Than a short hike towards wangdhitshe Temple. Have 180 degree view of the Thimphu city. And later again visit the Thimphu festival. Night stay in Thimphu.

Day 5
Drive towards Punakha ( 2hrs ). The second capital city of Bhutan. On the way visit Dochula Pass, Chimmi lhangkhang ( fertility Temple )
And later visit wolakha nunnery. ( Fortress )
Homestay for the night

Day 6
Hike to Khamsumyuelley Namgyel Temple.
Rafting if you wished to, and Punakha fortress, and suspension bridge.
Homestay for the night.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Bagdora-Phountsoling

Arrive at Bagdogra and transfer to Phuentsholing.
-On arrival check in to your hotel rooms & In evening go for a walk around Zangthopelri Lhakhang.
-Overnight stay at the hotel Phuentsholing (Altitude 300m)

Day 2

Pling-Thimphu

-After an early breakfast complete all the immigration formalities at Phuentsholing and then transfer to Thimphu.
-On arrival check in at the hotel, Then visit:-
1) Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang).
2) King's Memorial Chorten and towards the evening go for a walk in Coronation Park & stroll through the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar.
-Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu. (Altitude 2,320m)

Day 3

Thimphu

-After breakfast visit those places missed on day 1 and then drive to visit National Library and Institute for Zorig Chusum then drive to Takin Preserve .
-Later in the afternoon visit Trashichhoedzong,.
-The Folk Heritage Museum (Phelchey Toenkhyim), Simply Bhutan museums and to National Textile Museum..
-Evening time can be spent strolling through the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar.
-Overnight stay will be in Thimphu (Altitude 2,320)

Day 4

Thimphu-Punakha

Drive to Punakha (75km, approx 2 ½ hr drive.)
-After breakfast, drive to Punakha across Dochu La.
-Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong and the Bhutan longest suspension Bridge.
And Nunnery ( female monk ) located a top of hills.
-Overnight stay will be at hotel In Punakha (Altitude 1,300m)

Day 5

Punakha to Phobjikha

Visit the Gangtey Gompa or know as Phobjikha valley( 2 hrs drive )

-Then explore the fascinating Phobjikha Valley.

-Also visit Black Neck Crane Information Centre.
Night stay at Phobjikha.

Day 6

Phountsoling

Drive Back to Phuentsholing (180km, approx 6 hrs drive)

-After an early breakfast visit, travel back to Phuentsholing.
-5km before Phuentsholing visit Kharbandi Goenpa.

-On arrival check into your hotel and evening time at leisure to cherish your last night stay in Bhutan...

-Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuentsholing (Altitude 300m)
