About Darjeeling : Darjeeling, AKA, Queen of hills is known for its scenic beauty & charm and famous narrow gauge railways. This tourist destination has a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchanjunga & is home to UNESCO world heritage site “Darjeeling Himalayan railway”. Also, it is the producer of 7% of total India’s tea output.

Gangtok : Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, is the gateway to the beautiful state. This used to be the transit city between Tibet & India. Wide range of Mt. Kanchanjunga surrounds this cosmopolitan town. MG road of Gangtok is India's first litter & spit free zone.

Pelling : At the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga is a small town famous for its buddhist culture. Pelling has the best view of Mt Kanchenjunga to offer and also has a site for mountain biking & rock climbing. This is the most upcoming and emerging town in Sikkim to be visited by the tourists.

Kalimpong : This town of West Bengal was once under the dynasty of the King of Bhutan. Later, taken over by britishers, Kalimpong is still known for its standard of education. Town still has the influence of British era in architecture. The lush green hills, quaint surroundings, a relaxed way of life, crisp & clean mountain air - what all you need as a tourist.

Lachung : A village in North Sikkim, sprawled across the banks of the Lachung Chu (river)which slices the village in two, Lachung is famous for its apples, peaches and apricots.

Lachen : The name Lachen means "big pass". The village has magnificent surroundings with grassy mountain slopes on one side and imposing snow capped peaks, glaciers and rock cliffs on the other side. The village is located in a picturesque valley surrounded by conifer and Rhododendron forests.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Bagdogra airport. Drive to Darjeeling. (5 hrs approx)

Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, meet our local representative and board your vehicle as we drive you
to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. This city has a beautiful view of Mt Kanchenjunga. Upon arrival,
check into your hotel. Fresh ‘n up and relax. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 2 : Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast this morning, get ready for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake AKA Changu Lake. This is a glacial Lake, located at an altitude of 12.310 ft. It is a must visit for every person visiting Sikkim. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Later, visit Baba Mandir AKA Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple. This mandir is located between Nathula Pass & Jalapla Pass. This is dedicated to a senetary of Punjab Regiment who was posted there in the border patrol force. Later, return to
Gangtok. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 3 : Local sightseeing of Gangtok

After a leisurely breakfast today, get ready for a local sightseeing of Gangtok city. Points covered will be Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. Later, relax in the comfort of your hotel. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 4 : Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling (4 hrs approx)

After breakfast this morning, check out from your hotel. Today, we will drive you to Darjeeling, aka, Queens of the hills. Enjoy this picturesque drive through the tea gardens and hills. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Relax and fresh ‘n up. Rest in comforts of your hotel & enjoy its amenities. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 5 : Local Sightseeing of Darjeeling

We start early in the morning today, before sunrise. We will take you to have a mesmerising sunrise
view of Mt Kanchenjunga from the famous Tiger hill. This is at a height of 28,208 ft, which is the world's
third highest peak. On your way back visit Ghoom monastery. Ghoom monastery holds the statue of Maitreya Buddha. Also, visit Batasia loop. This place holds the spectacular 360 degree view of this beautiful hill station. This place is also famous for the loop made by toy trains while it passes by the garden. Return back to your hotel. Fresh ‘n up & have breakfast. Post breakfast, will take you to the local sightseeing of Darjeeling. Points covered will be Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ava Art Gallery, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple. Evening has been kept free for you to explore the charm of this city. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 6 : Departure

After breakfast this morning, check out from your hotel as we drive you back to Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station. Catch your flight / train for your onwards journey.
