Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Tanzania

  Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, where your Safari Spirit Journeys guide will meet and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Relax, meet your trek team, and complete a safety and equipment briefing before your mountain adventure begins.

• Day 2 : Arusha to Miriakamba Hut (Full Board)

  After breakfast, drive to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. Begin your trek with an armed park ranger, passing through open grassland, dense rainforest, and acacia woodland. Look out for zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, monkeys, and colorful birdlife. Reach Miriakamba Hut (2,500m) in the late afternoon.

  Overnight: Miriakamba Hut (Full Board)

• Day 3 : Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (Full Board)

  Climb steeply through montane forest and enter the open moorland zone. Stop for breathtaking views of the Meru crater and the Ash Cone. Arrive at Saddle Hut (3,570m) in time for lunch. Optional sunset hike to Little Meru (3,820m) for acclimatization and scenic views.

• Day 4 : Summit Attempt – Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak & Return to Miriakamba Hut

  Wake at 1:30 a.m. to begin your summit push by headlamp. Trek via Rhino Point (3,800m) and Cobra Point (4,350m) along a thrilling ridgeline to reach Socialist Peak (4,566m) by sunrise. Revel in stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the crater below, and endless plains. Descend to Saddle Hut for brunch, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for overnight rest.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 5 : Descent to Momella Gate – Return to Arusha

  After breakfast, descend through forest paths filled with bird calls and glimpses of wildlife. Arrive at Momella Gate, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Arusha. Celebrate your achievement and relax, or continue your journey with a safari extension or Zanzibar beach escape.

  Transfer to Arusha (breakfast & lunch included)
