Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Drive: 2–3 Hours | Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Depart Arusha for Tarangire, known for huge elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Full-day game drive, then continue to Karatu for dinner & overnight.

Day 2 Karatu → Serengeti National Park

Drive: 3–4 Hours | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Travel to Serengeti via Ngorongoro highlands. Enjoy wildlife viewing en route and inside the park. Overnight inside the Serengeti.

Day 3 Full-day Game Drive In Serengeti

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Full-day safari exploring Serengeti plains. Excellent chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hippos and migrating herds (seasonal).

Day 4 Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Sunrise game drive, then journey toward Ngorongoro, passing scenic savannah and Maasai settlements. Overnight near the crater rim.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater → Lake Manyara

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular full-day game drive inside the natural wildlife sanctuary. Afternoon transfer to accommodation near Lake Manyara.

Drive: 2 Hours | Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Booking and Reservations
A booking with Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition is confirmed once a deposit has been received and a written confirmation has been sent to the client. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Changes to Itinerary
While every effort is made to follow the planned itinerary, Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition reserves the right to make changes due to:
Weather conditions
Safety concerns
National park regulations
Unforeseen circumstances
Any changes will be made with the safety and comfort of clients as the top priority.
Travel Insurance
All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
Trip cancellation
Medical expenses
Emergency evacuation
High altitude trekking such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
Health and Fitness
Clients participating in mountain trekking must be in good physical condition. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they are medically fit for activities such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Responsibility and Liability
Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition acts only as a tour operator and shall not be held responsible for: ∙ Personal injury or illness
Loss or damage of personal belongings
Delays caused by weather, road conditions, or airline schedules
Any events beyond our control
Client Conduct
Clients are expected to respect local cultures, wildlife, and environmental regulations while visiting national parks and communities in Tanzania.
Passport, Visa, and Travel Documents
All travelers must have valid travel documents including passports and visas required for entry into Tanzania. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure these documents are valid before travel.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking a tour with Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms & Methods :

A deposit (usually 30% of the total trip cost) is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid before the tour begins or upon arrival in Moshi unless otherwise agreed.
Payments may be made through:
Bank transfer
Online transfer
Cash payment upon arrival

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

If a client cancels their trip, the following cancellation fees may apply:
More than 30 days before the trip – deposit refundable (minus bank charges)
15–30 days before the trip – 50% cancellation fee
Less than 15 days before the trip – 100% cancellation fee
