Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Nairobi

  Upon your arrival, our friendly guide will warmly welcome you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Following this, you will be transferred to the luxurious Concord Hotel, where you will check in and receive a detailed briefing about your Kenya Best Value safari. Spend the day at your leisure, enjoying the hotel’s amenities, and relax in your comfortable standard room. Get ready for what promises to be the highlight of your travel experience!

• Day 2 : Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

  The journey from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve can be undertaken by road (approximately 6-7 hours) or by a 1-hour charter flight. Following an early breakfast at the Concord Hotel, you will set off on your journey. You will arrive in Samburu in the afternoon, where you will check in at the Ashnil Samburu Camp. After lunch, an exciting afternoon game drive awaits you, providing the perfect opportunity to spot the unique wildlife of this region. Return to the camp later for a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

  On Day 3, you will travel from Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is approximately 250 km away—a journey that takes around 5 hours. After enjoying breakfast at the Ashnil Samburu Camp, you will embark on your scenic drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned as a birdlife haven, nestled in the Great Rift Valley.
  
  Despite the declining numbers of flamingos due to natural factors, the park’s beauty remains captivating. You will encounter stunning landscapes dominated by rocky escarpments, acacia forests, and euphorbia trees surrounding the lake. Besides the few flamingos, a variety of other birdlife, including pelicans, cormorants, and kingfishers, can be spotted here. Wildlife viewing is accessible, making it easy to see endangered species such as the Rothschild’s giraffe and white rhino along the lakeshore. You will check in at Ziwa Bush Lodge for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and another peaceful overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

  After breakfast, prepare for the scenic journey from Lake Nakuru to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, approximately 300 km away. The drive will take about 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at the Jambo Mara , enjoy lunch, and then head out for an exhilarating afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, return to the camp for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

• Day 5 : Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

  Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. A packed lunch will be prepared for you to enjoy in the wild, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of this incredible experience. Alternatively, you may choose to take both morning and afternoon game drives, returning to the lodge for a hot lunch. Known as the “World Cup of Wildlife,” the Maasai Mara is one of the top destinations for wildlife safaris in Africa. Witnessing the Wildebeest Migration is a bucket-list experience you cannot afford to miss, especially between July and October. After a day filled with adventure, you will enjoy dinner by the bonfire before retiring for the night at Jambo Mara.

• Day 6 : Departure to Nairobi

  As your 6 Days Magical Kenya Safari comes to an end, you will journey back to Nairobi. The drive covers approximately 290 km and takes about 6-7 hours. Enjoy breakfast and check out from the lodge before commencing your return trip. En route, a packed lunch will be provided by Mara Eden Safari Camp. Finally, our guide will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight or at your pre-arranged hotel.
