Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR + LOCAL SIGHT SEEING

  You will be met by our representative at the Srinagar airport. He will assist and transfer you to the Hotel. Later proceed to Sightseeing Tour to world famous mughal gardens including: Shalimar, Nishat, Tulip gardens,(Asia’s biggest tulip garden) botanical gardens, Chesmashahi, Parimahal & Famous Hazratbal. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Dinner and Overnight in hotel.

• Day 2 : SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM

  After breakfast proceed to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds). En-route, visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Drive through the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Overnight in hotel.

• Day 3 : INN PAHALGAM

  At the foothills of the mountains in Pahalgam, you can feel how dominant is the span of nature. Get ready to undertake anyone of the optional trips to Aru / Betaab / Chandanwari / Baisaran (cost not included) to turn your Pahalgam tour into a life-long memory. Overnight in Pahalgam.

  After breakfast proceed to Srinagar, En-route, visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside.Drive through the pine forests. • Day 5 : SRINAGAR - GULMARG – SRINAGAR

  World and highest Morning leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola at own cost) for mountain ride upto Khilangmarg Don’t miss the opportunity to take a pony ride in scenic meadows or the Gondola ride (world’s highest rope way) to Khillanmarg and Affarwat at your own cost(optional – can be arranged on request). Whether traversing the grounds to see the animals, calm mountains, green pastures, or exploring the conservation efforts, Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 6 : SRINAGAR – MANASBAL - SRINAGAR

  After breakfast, proceed to Manasbal Located at distance of just around 30kms away Srinagar, the manasbal lake is considered to be “gem” among all the lakes of jammu and Kashmir. Known as the deepest lake of Kashmir as well as the lake which offers the most secured ice formation amongst the lakes of Kashmir during the summer months. Evening Transfer to Houseboat in Srinagar. As you get fresh, visit the historic Shankaracharya Temple on the majestic Mount Sulaiman. As evening Approaches, experience a blissful shikara ride on the serene Dal Lake. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Prepaid sim cards don’t work in J&K due to security reasons, postpaid connection is a must. In Katra for Pithu / Palki / Pony services, Municipal Commitee Katra has fixed the rates and they are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. If someone is overcharging above the listed rates it’s up to you how hard you can bargain. In Srinagar, if you are staying at the Houseboat:- Shikara Transfers are complimentary, do not pay for the same. Guests don’t need to take ponies in Gulmarg & Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots, all the major tourist atraction points are nearby so you can walk them down. However if still, you wish to take a pony ride/sledging/ratiing, etc the rates the highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max. Sightseeing to Aru Valley / Beetab Valley / Chandanwari at Pahalgam will be by local taxi union only. Due to union outside vehicles cannot enter these places. The rate is highly negotiable if you wish to visit these places. You have to pay extra directly. If need to modify the quote/itinerary or if the price is not fiting in your budget, then let the agent know directly.
