Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Srinagar/Arrival/Local Sightseeing

Dal Lake

Meet and greet at Srinagar Airport upon arrival and transfer to Hotel. Half day free for local sightseeing of Mughal Gardens, Dal Lake etc which purely depends upon the nature of the timing of the flight Arrival, in the evening enjoy shikara ride on Dal lake .Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 2

Srinagar/Gulmarg

After breakfast transfer to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2-½ hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available .Overnight in Gulmarg.

Day 3

Gulmarg/Srinagar/Pahalgam

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). The distance of about 150 kms will be covered in about 3.5 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through the pine forest. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. Afternoon have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. Overnight In Pahalgam.

Day 4

In Pahalgam

Free for individual activities. One can visit Chandanwadi, Betaab Valley or Aru by local union Taxes (at own direct payment basis) Overnight in Pahalgam.

Day 5

Pahalgam/Srinagar

Dal Lake

After breakfast drive to Srinagar , Upon reaching Srinagar check into the hotel . Rest of the day free for Srinagar local Sightseeing , which includes Mughal Gardens, Shankar Achariya Temple Dal Lake, Evening explore local Markets .Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 6

Srinagar/Sonamarg/Srinagar

Full day excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sind Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.

Srinagar/Depart

Transfer to Srinagar airport for onward destination with sweet memories.

To reach the glaciers and the gondola station, you can hire ponies / horses on a direct payment basis as vehicles are not allowed beyond a certain point in Gulmarg and Sonamarg.

Important Information

AC will not be functional on Hills, Terrains or Slopes.
In case of road closure (During the Winter Months)due to snow from Tangmarg - Gulmarg Tangmarg or Gagangir - Sonamarg and/or vice versa our vehicle (as per local administration/Govt. Law) will not be allowed to move as precautionary measures and only jeeps with special chains on wheels are allowed to move. These vehicles can be
hired on a direct payment basis, or some can be arranged by us at additional cost.
In Gulmarg (Round the Year) the rider union does not allow any vehicle to pick up or drop guests at/from Gondola. Also, any Sightseeing tours by vehicles inside Gulmarg are not allowed. Apharwat, Khilangmarg, and Kongdori peaks are for skiing and Kanchenjunga Museum are not included. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.
During (During the Winter Months) Sonamarg remains closed, and vehicles can only go up to Gagangir.
We always recommend booking Houseboats with AC Facility During Summer Season as the temperatures and humidity goes high the stay gets uncomfortable.
Due to the heavy snow falls roads from Jammu – Srinagar – Jammu is open for traffic alternatively or vehicular movement may remain suspended for traffic, depending on weather conditions, and road may get block anytime without any notice, in such conditions we have no control over the road and thus we won’t be liable for any such conditions. The best possible help will be provided to the customers in such conditions.
Jammu/Katra to Pahalgam/Srinagar takes approx. 10 - 12 Hrs One way depending on the road and traffic conditions. You are requested to consider the above while making train or flight reservations.
Thajwas Glacier, Fishpond, Zero Point Krishansar and Vishansar Lake at Sonamarg are not Included in the given.
After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g., your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All costs incurred due to the amendment will be borne by you.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any
avoidable/unavoidable reasons we must be informed in writing .Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive an email or a letter in writing Cancellation charges applicable would be as follows.
10% cancellation charges if cancelled 30 days before the tour start date.
30% cancellation charges if cancelled between 30 – 22 Days before the tour start date.
No refund will be applicable if cancelled 22days prior to Arrival. No Refund or Compensation will be applicable for any changes during the trip.

As per government policy, please carry any copy of photo identity proof of the guest for security reasons. Also note that if the guest is nonresidential Indian, please carry the passport copy (must).
