Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Kandy

Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be received warmly by our representative. You will then be escorted to your vehicle to begin your holiday in Sri Lanka. Enroute to your destination, you can visit one of the most important tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned, and injured elephants within the park.

Day 2 : Kandy

Breakfast at hotel.
Lying amidst the hills, Kandy is the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. While being the second largest city in Sri Lanka it is also famous for its immense beauty and is named as one of the seven UNESCO declared World Heritage sites in the country. With its luxuriant prairie, picturesque lake, longest river of the country and misty mountains, Kandy successfully mesmerizes every visitor unsurprisingly. While on your Kandy city tour you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as Dalada Maligawa.
Then you will be dropped off by Kandy Lake where you can enjoy a leisure walk around the Kandy Lake. Then visit the Botanical Garden. The real evidence of the richness will be affirmed by your visit to the Gem Museum. Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world. Semi-precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and comes in shades of blue, red, green, white etc. In the evening you will witness a traditional cultural dance show.

Day 3 : Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya. (Appxi driving time 3.30hrs) Enroot, Ramboda visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple.
Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple – Believed that Hanuman was searching for Sita Devi from a place called “Ravana Goda” close to this Bhakta Hanuman Temple. Key Ramayana site in Sri Lanka. Proceed towards Nuwara Eliya. Sightseeing at Nuwara Eliya Sita Amman Temple – is the only Hindu Temple which dedicated to Princess Sita in Sri Lanka. This is one of the important Ramayana related places of Sri Lanka. Sita Amman Temple in Nuwara Eliya is one of most visited Ramayana itinerary Hindu Temples in Sri Lanka.

Day 4 : Yala

After breakfast make your way to the sacred town of Yala. On the way there, make a stop at a beautiful small town in the highlands, Ella. Here, visit Ella Gap which offers beautiful vistas out across the plains.

Day 5 : Yala

In the morning, head to Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's premier wildlife reserve. Here you’ll board a 4x4 and embark on a safari through open grasslands, lush forest and tranquil lagoons. Your guide will carefully listen out for the rustling of concealed animals that would go unnoticed by those not in the know. There's a good chance of spotting crocodiles, elephants, monkeys and buffaloes and if you are lucky, you may even spot a leopard – the park is considered one of the best places in the world to see these ever-elusive beauties. Thereafter proceed to hotel and realx. Evening visit Katharagama Dewalaya. The sacred city of Kataragama connected with the Yala National Park and is regarded as one of the best places to go in Yala. This holy town is a gripping blend of solemnity and convoy, piousness, and sacred lush. Kataragama is one of the most significant pilgrimages in Sri Lanka. A religious city is a holy place for Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus and the Vedas. Once there, you can easily breathe the magical incense in the air. The months of July and August celebrates a huge round of pilgrims paying tribute.

Day 6 : Colombo

After breakfast leave for Colombo. Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Located on the west coast, it is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern and colonial impressions. Colombo has wildly varying architecture that spans centuries and depicts various styles. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian, and Contemporary architectural styles.
No other place is this more evident in the heart of the city than the Fort area. Colombo also boasts many shopping malls and department stores that offer brand name clothing at highly discounted prices. Therefore, it has become an important shopping destination among tourists.
While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square. For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.
