Tosamaidan was inaccessible for years, but now with the dedication & hard efforts of local people from adjacent villages, Tosamadian is available for trekkers, nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers, botanists, zoologists, geologists & environmentalists.
Yusmarg on the other hand is a beautiful lush green meadow covered by pine forests and different varieties of wildflowers. Yusmarg is a destination with diversity and versatility in its existence. It is a base for many thrills like rolling lush green meadows, lakes, treks, mountain expeditions, wildlife and many more.
Tosamaidan-Yusmarg trek crosses through 9 Alpine high-altitude lakes, 12 vast meadows, 3 rivers and variety of flora and fauna, which will sooth one’s eyes.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Srinagar

Arrive Srinagar Airport & Proceed to Check in at your hotel Houseboat. Later local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Evening Back to the Houseboat. Dinner & overnight at Houseboat Hotel.

Day 2

Procced To Tosamaidan (approx 70 Kms & Will Take 3 Hrs).

After early breakfast, Procced to Tosamaidan (Approx 70 Kms & will take 3 hrs). There is a rough off-road drive from Sithaharan to Tosamaidan. Arrive at Dam Dam in Tosamaidan & start your Trekking expedition. Lunch on the way at Shifanag then free time at Shifanag spring. Shifanag has a medicinal property as there is good amount of Phosphorus in it. Later continue with your trekking and by the evening arrive at Gadtarsar (Fish Lake). There are lot of trout fishes in this lake hence the name Gadtarsar. You will pitch your tents at Gadtarsar. Overnight stay. Dinner & Overnight at Gadtarsar in Tents.

Day 3

Cnaze Meadow

Today morning after breakfast, we will start our Onwards trekking & visit nearby Lakes, meadows & rivers. We will visit Damamsar, Bandersar, Sukhnag river, Gulposh valley & finally you will reach Chanze meadow. We will pitch our tents at vast Cnaze meadow. Dinner & overnight at Chanze meadow.

Day 4

Diskhal

After breakfast, start your trek towards Ashtar meadow, we will cross through Shaliganga river. Ashtar Velley is the most beautiful part of your trek & one can see Sunset Peak from very close at Ashtar. You will spend a good time at Ashtar valley & then trek to Corug meadow, Diskhal. You will put your tents at Diskhal and overnight stay at Diskhal. Dinner and overnight at Diskhal in tents.

Day 5

Mazekhenen

After Breakfast, continue with your trek to Trusar (3 lakes) on the way visit Daanuer, Chaskinag. After visiting Trusar, then descent down to Liddermud meadow. Enjoy the breath-taking views of lofty Pir Panchal mountains. Then descent further and stop at Mazekhanen meadow where Doodhganag river crosses the meadow. Overnight stay at Mazekhenen. Dinner & overnight at Mazekhenen in Tents.

Day 6

Proceed To Yusmarg Via Frasnag Meadow

After breakfast pack your tents and trekking gear and proceed to Yusmarg via Frasnag meadow. Arrive Yusmarg till afternoon and then check in at your Hotel in Yusmarg. Later free time for relaxing at Yusmarg. Dinner & overnight at Yusmarg Hotel.

Day 7

Departure

After breakfast checkout from Yusmarg hotel & proceed to Airport to board your return flight back home as per flight details. (Approx distance 50 Kms from Yusmarg to Airport and will take an 1.30 hrs)
