6D Ladakh Tour - Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake - Sham Valley

On the first day, you arrive in Leh, a beautiful town located at a high altitude in Ladakh. As soon as you land, you will notice the crisp mountain air and stunning views of barren hills surrounding the valley. Because Leh is situated at over 11,000 feet, the entire day is kept light to help your body adjust to the altitude. After checking into your hotel, it is advised to rest and drink plenty of water to avoid altitude sickness. In the evening, you can take a slow walk around your hotel or visit the nearby Leh Market. The market is colorful and lively, offering local handicrafts, souvenirs, and traditional Ladakhi items. Dinner is served at the hotel, and you spend the night resting to prepare for the upcoming adventures.

On the second day, after breakfast, you set out for an exciting excursion to Sham Valley, also known as the “Lower Ladakh” region. This area is famous for its beautiful landscapes, historic monasteries, and cultural significance. Your first stop is Magnetic Hill, a unique natural phenomenon where vehicles appear to roll uphill on their own. Next, you visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a sacred Sikh pilgrimage site with deep historical importance. You then witness the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where two rivers of different colors meet, creating a stunning visual contrast. Later, you visit Spituk Monastery. In the evening, you return to Leh, enjoying the scenic drive. Dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.

Day three begins with an early breakfast followed by a thrilling drive to Nubra Valley, crossing the iconic Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The journey offers breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and deep valleys. Upon reaching Nubra Valley, you visit Diskit Monastery, famous for its giant statue of Maitreya Buddha overlooking the valley. Later, you explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, where the cold desert landscape creates a surprising contrast. Here, you may enjoy a camel ride on the rare double-humped Bactrian camels. The peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air make the experience unforgettable. You check into a camp or hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. En-route visit the following monuments. 3 Idiot Famed School Thikshey Monastery Shey Palace and Museum Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight
