Simba Camp, which is tucked away at a height of about 2,625 meters, is your first overnight destination.

With its stunning location next to a glacial tarn, the campsite offers an amazing night-time scene.

As you get closer to Kibo Hut, which is situated in the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, the scenery turns bleak and alpine.

With a total distance of almost 21 kilometers, this is a long and taxing day.

As you descend, you will travel roughly 27 kilometers through areas of lush jungle and moorland. The colorful flowers and lush vegetation offer a different viewpoint of the mountain. You will thank your committed guides and porters and receive your summit certificates when arriving at the Marangu Gate and we will travel by our vehicle to your Accommodation in Arusha or Moshi for your overnight stay.
