7 Days Serengeti Northern Migration Safari Exclusive Luxury Itinerary

Morning arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport with a scheduled luxury bush flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the Northern Serengeti. In the afternoon guests receive a warm welcome from their private 4x4 safari guide followed by a game drive en route to the camp and a gourmet lunch at check in. In the evening enjoy sundowner drinks overlooking the wilderness followed by an exquisite three course dinner at the camp.

Full day dedicated to tracking the Great Migration along the Mara River with early morning departures for full day game drives. Expect close observation of mega herds of wildebeest and zebras facing crocodiles at river crossings, predator tracking in the late afternoon, and a luxury bush picnic lunch under an Acacia tree. Return to camp for evening campfires and relaxation.

A second full day of tracking the Great Migration and Mara River crossings with early departures for game drives, luxury bush picnic lunch in the savannah, and afternoon predator tracking. The day focuses on maximizing sightings of migration action and big cats before returning to camp for evening relaxation.

Morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti followed by a scenic drive or short flight down to the Central Serengeti Seronera valley, an area renowned for its year round big cat density. Afternoon check in to a luxury central lodge or camp and a game drive exploring the classic kopjes rock formations.

Full day drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with check in to a luxury lodge perched on the rim of the crater offering breathtaking views. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take a guided rim walk to appreciate the dramatic landscape and vistas.

Early morning descent approximately 600 meters down into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a dramatic morning of wildlife viewing with the best chance to spot the rare Black Rhino and other big species. Enjoy a charming picnic lunch near the hippo pool and in the afternoon ascend from the crater and transfer back toward Arusha or to a nearby luxury estate for the night.

Relaxed morning with breakfast and an optional visit to a local cultural center or gallery to view high end Tanzanian art and tanzanite gemstones. Afternoon day use room access before transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO for outbound flights home.
