7 Days Tawang Tour Package

Welcome to your Experience North East with Tawang tour! You will report at the boarding point at 6 AM and board the Bus for transfer to Dirang. On reaching Dirang, check in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the picturesque valley. In the evening you visit the apple orchids and the Yak farms.

After a leisurely breakfast, we spend the day exploring the beautiful Dirang Valley. Attractions in Dirang is- Sangti Valley, Dirang Dzong, Hot water spring, Kalchakra Gompa.

Post breakfast drive to Tawang, through Sela- Pass which is the world second highest motorable road at an altitude of 13,700ft. Visit Jaswant Garh, memorial-cum- mandir of a great Indian soldier. Also, admire the pristine beauty of Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall). Retire to the hotel for an overnight stay in Tawang. KINDLY NOTE- FOR UPPER TAWANG TOUR, ARMY PERMIT IS COMPULSORY AND ONLY LOCAL CARS ARE ALLOWED. VEHICLE HIRE CHARGE IS RS.5000.00 WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE COST. After breakfast, we will head towards a place called Zimithang. It is a beautiful hilly area situated around 100 kilometres away from Tawang.Zemithang is in the extreme end of Tawang district, in the border of China and Bhutan. As the road snakes uphill watch for black-necked crane a rare verity of bird found in this region. There is a Buddha stupa is also known as Gorchem Chorten, which is around 100 feet height and the largest stupa in that area. After visiting that stupa, we will return to Tawang. On the return route, we will stop at Tara Devi temple in Lum La. After that, we will return to Tawang to stay there for the night.

Post breakfast, experience the behold fascinating view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake) against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Next, we drive to Bum la pass which is indo-china border, 37km away from Tawang. Also, stop by beautiful Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake. Return to your hotel and stay overnight in Tawang.

Post breakfast, drive to the picturesque town of Bomdila. Located in the foothills of Himalayas, it is the headquarters of West Kameng District, situated at a height of 8500 ft. One can view the brilliant landscape and snow-clad Gorichen ranges of the Himalaya from here on a clear day. On arrival, check into the hotel in Bomdila. The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

After breakfast, bid farewell to your 'North East Tour' as you are transferred from hotel in Bomdila to Guwahati. End of Tour.
