Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT - GANGTOK

  Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 2 : EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR

  After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)

• Day 3 : GANGTOK LOCAL 10 POINTS

  After our breakfast we will proceed for local sightseeing in or around Gangtok including Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok. These viewpoints offering panoramic view of snow capped Himalayan peaks & Gangtok city. Proceed to visit Rumtek Monastery , Institute of Tibetology to have a glance of Tibetan antics, Orchid House ( Collection of Himalayan orchids), Enchay Monastery ,Dodurl Chorten etc. In the evening visit to M G Marg, the busy market of Gangtok, for shopping and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant.

• Day 4 : GANGTOK TO LACHUNG VIA MANGAN

  Pick up at 10:00 A.M from stand at Gangtok & transfer to Lachung (one of the most beautiful and a picturesque village in the area and is covered with snow during the winter months), altitude 8610 ft). Enroute Visit Mangan( North district headquarters), Singik view point, Chungthang. Lunch on the way. Dinner & overnight stay at Lachung hotel.

• Day 5 : LACHUNG – YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION

  After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to. have medicinal properties. Back to resort. Overnight stay at Lachung.

• Day 6 : LACHUNG TO DARJEELING

  After breakfast, check out from Lachung and proceed towards Darjeeling. Enjoy the scenic drive through Chungthang, Mangan and the Teesta River Valley. En route, halt at viewpoints for photography and refreshments. Continue the journey via Gangtok and Rangpo. On arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel. Evening free for leisure or a relaxed walk at Mall Road. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 7 : DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING FULL DAY

  At about 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial – Back to hotel for breakfast and next - Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden - lunch at hotel or on the way - Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi – Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors – it is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest – Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
