Day 1

Arrival In Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your accommodation in Moshi. Spend the day relaxing and preparing for your adventure.

Day 2

Moshi To Machame Gate (1,800m) To Machame Camp (3,000m)

After breakfast, travel to Machame Gate, the starting point of your climb. From here, you’ll hike through lush rainforest to Machame Camp. The trek today takes you through vibrant vegetation and offers stunning views as you ascend to your camp.

Day 3

Machame Camp To Shira Camp (3,800m)

Shira Plateau

Continue your ascent through moorland and rocky paths, reaching the Shira Plateau. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the peak of Kilimanjaro as you settle into Shira Camp.

Day 4

Shira Camp To Lava Tower (4,600m) And Then To Barranco Camp (3,900m)

Hike up to the Lava Tower, a volcanic rock formation, which aids in acclimatization. From here, descend to Barranco Camp, located in a scenic valley, for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Barranco Camp To Karanga Camp (4,000m)

Tackle the Barranco Wall, a challenging ascent that rewards you with spectacular views. Proceed to Karanga Camp, the last water point before the summit, and rest for the night.

Day 6

Karanga Camp To Barafu Camp (4,600m)

Make your way to Barafu Camp, situated on a rocky ridge. This camp is your base for the final push to the summit. Rest and prepare for the night as you will begin your summit attempt early the next day.

Barafu Camp To Uhuru Peak (5,895m) And Descent To Millennium Camp (3,800m)

Uhuru Peak

Start your summit climb around midnight to reach Uhuru Peak by sunrise. Experience the breathtaking views from the highest point in Africa. Afterward, descend to Millennium Camp, situated in the forest zone, to rest.

Day 8

Millennium Camp To Mweka Gate (1,630m)

Complete your descent to Mweka Gate where you’ll receive your summit certificate. From the gate, transfer back to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and overnight stay.
