Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city. You will be met and driven in a private vehicle to Hogmead situated in one of Nairobi’s most beautiful and prestigious suburbs and the legendary views of the Ngong Hills famously described in ‘Out of Africa’. The epitome of cosy luxury, Hogmead combines a fresh, comfortable practicality—bright rooms, Egyptian cotton linens, prompt service and all the modern conveniences. Sloping green lawns and acacia-lined lanes make this an ideal place to come home to when exploring cosmopolitan Nairobi. Dinner will be included today and a selection of drinks.

After breakfast a transfer will be provided to Wilson for the scheduled morning flight to Samburu a harsh and savagely beautiful wilderness that depends on the steady flow of Uaso Nyiro River for its very existence. Your driver guide will be waiting at the Airstrip to drive you to Larsen’s Camp situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the ruggedly beautiful Samburu National Game Reserve. Tranquil and luxurious, this camp enjoys uninterrupted views of the Uaso Nyiro River from the private verandas of every spacious and stylish guest tent. There will be time to relax after lunch and in the late afternoon experience the thrill of your first game drive in Samburu. With its vivid colors and contrasts between sky, bush and sand, the park is a photographer's paradise and home also to the proud and handsome Samburu tribe. Meal plan is all inclusive to include breakfast, lunch & dinner and house wines, soft drinks, bottled water beers and non luxury spirits

A transfer will be provided to the Airstrip for the scheduled flight to the Masai Mara host to the most spectacular array of wildlife. On landing at Musiara Airstrip, the Camp resident driver guide will be waiting to welcome you. Get a first glimpse of the Masai Mara famed wildlife as you head to Ngerende in the Wild ideally situated on the banks of the Mara River with just four luxury tents offering guests every comfort in the Wild. After a refreshing towel and a welcome cocktail you will be taken to your tent to relax and freshen up Lunch will be prepared by your Chef and served by your butler on your private terrace offering views of the resident animals around the Camp. After lunch and short rest, experience the phenomenal wildlife that Masai Mara with your knowledgeable guide on the afternoon game drive. We return to camp in the early evening in time to refresh and enjoy a drink around the camp fire and dinner under the stars with only the sounds of the night to disturb the peace. Your stay includes three meals daily, a sundowner at a spectacular location and daily exclusive early morning and late afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safaris vehicles. Soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers are also included.

Spend the day exploring the amazing Mara on exciting early morning and late afternoon game drives when it is generally cooler and the wildlife is more active. The Mara Reserve is a fabulous place to spot the big cats and the big five, a variety of plains game and over 300 birds’ species. During the migration period you are just within a striking distance of the beautiful Mara River where the greatest show on earth crossing of wildebeest and zebras takes from around July to October. As the evening sets in, enjoy your favourite drink and canapés at a special spot with amazing views of the plains and the spectacular African sunset. Delicious gourmet meals will be served back at the Camp and after dinner every evening relax and enjoy the warmth of the campfire with your drink as you take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

We bid farewell to the staff and depart by road with an en-route game drive as you head to Ngerende Island Lodge where you will be greeted with a Masai welcome dance, a refreshing chilled towel and a welcome drink. After briefing and a discussion with chef on food requirements, you will be taken to your suite to rest. Have lunch and you will have time to relax before we set out in the late afternoon on a game drive in search of the "big five" in the expansive 17,400 acres of the conservancy. Return to the lodge for dinner and a welcome overnight rest. This day dinner will be "fine dining" in the cosy lodge restaurant which has a romantic ambiance.

There will be an early morning and late afternoon game drive to enjoy the splendors of the conservancy. Guests enjoy an intimate and relaxed stay and the pace of your safari may be as active or as leisurely as you wish. We offer a wide of activities to include a visit to the nearby Masai village (entrance extra), a sundowner, bush meals weather permitting and walks with our Resident naturalist. Guests may also relax by the pool or spend some rejuvenating moments at the spa (optional extra). Meal plan is all inclusive.

On your last day we depart after an early breakfast for a morning of exceptional game viewing. Your personal driver guide will share his knowledge of the surroundings and the local wildlife. After breakfast a transfer will be provided to the airstrip for the scheduled morning flight to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. Our Rep will be at hand to meet you and transfer you the short distance to the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your international departure where your safari with us ends.
